Behind the wheel and behind the camera, Women In Film and GM provide women with the power to dream… and do. The WIF/GM Alliance programs help put women on the fast track to success, giving industry newcomers hands-on experience and providing them with access to education and opportunities as they embark on paths to fulfill their highest potential.

Programs, like the ones below, reward talented individuals who are driven to excel, combining passion and vision with the practical resources needed to succeed.

• Everybody deserves a shot at the American Dream. In 2005, the Latina New Filmmaker Grant gave five young Hispanic women the opportunity to learn the ropes by networking and working with Hollywood insiders. In 2006, the Acceleration Grant will repeat the successful program.
• The gift of knowledge lasts forever. From the College Lecture Series to a variety of scholarships and grants, WIF and GM help deserving candidates complete their education.
